The majority of actions you take in your daily life are controlled by your unconscious mind (your auto pilot) and are driven by your emotional state cycle.

Think about how you drive your car, is it the same way you did when learning? Do you remember all your car journeys? Probably not because you are driving in an unconscious/competent state. (Habit)

Your childhood experiences, beliefs and family values are stored in your unconcious mind and may well be hindering your ability to make the changes you desire. Our verbal and non verbal behaviour is driven by the associated memories stored in our unconscious mind. Some good, some bad and some simply past their sell by date.

The reason you find personal change difficult whether it be a career move, dieting, overcoming phobias, exercising or simply trying to do that one thing you've always wanted to is because you are unable to get your conscious and unconscious mind working as one. Does the old saying "I am in two minds..." sound familiar? Now you know what I am talking about! 

Being able to align the two minds together is the route finder to personal change.
